The Wearable Device Challenge is a competition where students design a wearable device to monitor the health of a human or animal based on environmental factors and/or disease transmission.
For the competition, students will use the engineering design process to design wearable device to solve a problem for humans or animals. Students will be required to design a working prototype of their device along with a 3-5 minute pitch, and a poster. There will be two divisions for the competition: middle school (5-8) and high school (9-12).
